PUL Community Service:

PUL continues its efforts to provide outreach, service and assistance to the community and surrounding areas.

  • Participate in the Adopt-A-Highway program at least twice a year in which we aim to clean up one of the major highways in PG County.

  • Provide food baskets for the holidays to seven families adopted by the Chapter.

  • Distribute care packages to seven seniors in the community for the Easter holiday.

  • Visit the Villa Rosa Nursing home twice during the fraternal year.

  • Participate in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program.

Other events include:

  • Coat drive with the ladies of the Psi Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority, Inc.  The coats were donated to Street Lights of Bethany Ministries of Greenbelt, which provides services to the homeless in the city of Greenbelt.

  • Toy drive during the month of December.  With the donations we received from the drive, we delivered 5 large bags of toys to Shepherds Cove Homeless Shelter on December 24th (Christmas Eve).

  • Visit to the Health Services for Children Pediatric Center (formerly known as Hospital for Sick Children).  The brothers participated in an arts and craft project with the patients.
